KAUS METATRON
CONCEPTO
Cual centinelas, los Moais custodian una civilización antigua, representan ancestros, cuidando de su pueblo, ofreciéndoles su energía y compañía para preservar su descendencia y su comunidad, un regalo ancestral, podría decirse, regalar su eternidad a las generaciones futuras, protegiéndoles como gigantes vigilantes incansables, tallados en una piedras volcánica, única de la isla de pascua llamada toba lapilli. Que al final, no pareciera coincidencia, que estos ancestros, estén compuestos del mismo material de la isla donde nacieron.
De la misma manera, dispuestas cual Moais, esta vez, no como centinelas, sino como informantes que envían señales al universo, antenas satelitales se disponen, mirando al firmamento para proyectarnos al espacio exterior, es curioso como la disposición de estos gigantescos dispositivos, se asemeja a la formación en fila de las grandes esculturas de la isla de Pascua, uno de los tantos patrones que se repiten en nuestra cultura global.
En una mezcla de estos conceptos, uno muy ancestral y el otro, representando nuestro presente y miras hacia el futuro, surge KAUS Metatrón, una propuesta característica del imaginario de KAUSLAB, esta nueva disposición para estos peculiares seres, lleva el nombre del ángel más grande, tal vez, haciendo referencia a la luz en sus cabezas, que se proyecta hacia el espacio como las ondas que transmiten las antenas satelitales, representando una vez más una particular pero armoniosa mezcla entre lo tradicional y lo futurista en sus composiciones, que parten de la fibra del henequén y por su figura poco común y un tanto vanguardista.
Se presenta una propuesta donde se despliegan un sinfín de connotaciones, y cuyo simbolismo radica tanto la constitución de los materiales que la conforman, como de la disposición de los elementos en el espacio, KAUS Metatrón es una imagen poderosa, una fila de seres, ubicados estratégicamente, que recuerdan a los ancestrales centinelas que evocan a antiguos ancestros, y que a su vez, tiene relación con conceptos tan contemporáneos como grandes antenas que miran el firmamento; negros, como la materia oscura hallada en el espacio, estas criaturas nos invitan a proyectarnos, desde nuestras raíces, hacia el futuro, nos invitan a proyectarnos, cual rayos de luz hacia el infinito.
CONCEPT
As sentinels, the Moais guard an ancient civilization, they represent ancestors, caring for their people, offering them their energy and company to preserve their offspring and their community, an ancestral gift, one could say, they give their eternity to future generations, protecting them as giants tireless guardians, carved in volcanic stones called toba lapilli, uniques of Easter island. In a mixture of these concepts, one very ancient and the other, representing our present and looking towards the future, comes KAUS Metatron, a characteristic proposal of KAUSLAB's imagery, this new disposition for these peculiar beings, bears the name of the greatest angel , Perhaps referring to the light in their heads projected into space as the waves transmitted by the satellite antennas, once again representing a particular but harmonious mixture between the traditional and the futuristic in their compositions, which depart from The fiber of the henequen and its unusual and somewhat avant-garde figure.
A proposal is presented unfolding an endless number of connotations, and whose symbolism lies both in the constitution of the materials that they’re made of, and in the arrangement of the elements in space, KAUS Metatron is a powerful image, a row of beings, located Strategically, reminiscent of antique sentinels evoking ancient ancestors, and also, has as much to do with contemporary concepts as great antennas that look at the sky; Black, like the dark matter found in space, these creatures invite us to project, from our roots, to the future, invite us to project ourselves, as rays of light towards the infinite.
